**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeing a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing, budgeting, reporting, and long-range planning for the FP&A function. In this role the selected candidate will support the development and achievement of the organization's goals and objectives by providing accurate, insightful and timely finance support and analysis. This individual will be required to work closely with counter parts across the company to ensure accurate analysis and presentation of the company's financial performance metrics, supporting the delivery of key department initiatives and communicating monthly business results against agreed performance targets. Reporting to the Regional Sr FP&A Manager, the Analysist will be involved in the annual operating planning process, will provide financial consulting and strategic support to corporate leadership, including identifying, researching, analyzing and presenting critical business drivers, trends and project level analysis.
This position could be based in Chicago, IL, Denver, CO or Houston, TX with other locations considered. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid remote work options.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Compiles and analyzes complex financial information and projects.
* Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses and projections, reports, and presentations.
* Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
* Review historical data, predict future results, analyze and explain budget variances.
* Identifies trends and presents findings to senior management.
* Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
* Participation in month-end closing activities, including accruals, reviewing results for cost-savings opportunities and working cross-functionally to drive initiatives.
* Position may provide functional advice or training to less- experienced analyst positions.
* Works under general direction.
**Qualifications**
**Min requirement:**
Bachelors in Finance, Business or a related field+ 6 years of related finance analysis experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
+ Strong written and oral communications skills
+ Experience building and maintaining strong internal relationships.
+ Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness
