**Job Description**

AECOM is seeking a BIM Specialist to be based in Kansas City, MO.

Job Summary:

* Works under general direction.

* Responsible for providing leadership and direction of specific BIM technologies to assigned project teams.

* Develops technical solutions to wide range of difficult problems.

* Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

* Perform complex assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms and complex systems including Revit software to achieve set results and deadlines.

**Qualifications**

Minimum Requirements:

+ BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 10 + years' experience in relevant field

+ Fully conversant with the latest REVIT and familiar with previous versionsDrafting / Engineering Drafting AND AutoDESK Revit Structural trained

+ Able to provide Structural design/detailing and coordination of models with other design disciplines.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be detail oriented, thorough, well organized, and effectively manage time

+ Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives

+ Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency

+ Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

+ Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills

+ Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively

+ Revit certificationHigh level communicator who is a capable teacher for all levels of BIM users
