**Description**
Stantec’s New York City Landscape Architecture Studio is seeking a junior-level landscape architectural designer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the studio in developing design and collaborate with other professionals such as planners, engineers, and architects within our practice.

Our NYC office offers a collaborative and humane work environment in a studio of approximately twenty landscape designers and landscape architects within a larger design practice of 300 professionals. We design waterfronts, streetscapes, parks and plazas, university campuses, naturalized habitats, greenways, and cultural facilities. Our team leads and participates on high profile NYC projects and, increasingly, on nation-wide and global assignments.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Site analysis and design concept development for projects and master plans, including digital and hand-drawn plans, sections, elevations and perspective renderings
+ Design development and preparation of contract documents using CAD and, potentially, Revit
+ Production of project renderings and report graphics
+ Participation in ongoing skill development activities
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Passionate about landscape architecture and urban design
+ Excellent creative thinking, site analysis, and design skills
+ Ability to integrate sustainable thinking into high level design within and outside the urban context
+ Familiarity with contemporary landscape architecture projects globally
+ Knowledge of latest philosophical thinking and research in the field
+ High level of proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe CC, and Rhino
+ Familiarity with GIS
+ Superior research, analytical thinking and problem solving skills
+ Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
**Education and Experience**
Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited school
Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape architecture practice and Excellent references.

+ Hiring Salary Range: $68,500 - $84,000— New York City locations only. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
