**Job Description**

**AECOM Hunt** is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent with experience in high rise/tower construction to support our exciting new construction projects in Nashville, TN.

+ Accountable and overall responsibility for on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.

+ Leads, directs and manages the entire direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.

+ Primary Liaison with client for day-to-day activities and long-term operations.

+ Communicates and directs through other superintendent's changes or modification of jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.

+ Accountable for compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.

+ Primary interface and engagement with Project Executive and manager group to coordinate efforts.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ BA/BS and 10 years of relevant Superintendent experience in vertical construction OR AA/AS + 12 years of relevant Superintendent experience in vertical construction OR HS/GED + 14 years of relevant experience Superintendent experience on vertical construction.

+ Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.

+ Expeirence in high rise/tower construciton.

**Preferred requirements** :

+ Ability and experience to act as Senior Superintendent and work independently in running a large construction project.

+ Demonstrated experience as a Senior Superintendent on large vertical construction projects.

+ Experience in high rise construction.

+ Experience in residential and multi-unit construction.

+ Experience as a Superintendent managing contract scopes from 50 - 100m.

+ Demonstrated experience working with sub-contractors, project documentation and related construction documents.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

+ Experience managing teams, inclusive of: selection, interview, hiring, promoting, providing guidance, taking effective actions, etc.
