About
The story so far.
The story so far.
Through my background in arts and culture, I bring a multidisciplinary approach to sustainable and socially responsive design. I am skilled in Rhino, Enscape, and Adobe Suite and have developed strong foundation in adaptive reuse and people centred design. Bringing over five years’ experience in cultural production and community engagement I am seeking to contribute to an innovative, socially engaged and collaborative design led studio.
Over the last three years of my studies, I’ve worked on projects that aim to tackle issues such as the shortage of social housing and unequal access to space, especially for marginalised communities. Alongside my studies I have been involved with the Wards Corner Community Plan, volunteering to support the delivery of public engagement workshops. This gave me an insight into co-designing and informed my second-year project in which I devised a workshop for young people to contribute ideas for a community allotment and cookery school in Haringey. I also worked on community build projects such as the Hadley Road Allotment (Mitcham) with Studio Dera and a natural building project in Suffolk.
Additionally, my experience in exhibition production has enabled me to oversee the development of large-scale exhibitions, developing my skills in research, project scoping, tendering and procurement.
I'm interested in a wide range of projects from residential to civic and cultural as well as being hands-on and getting involved on site or model making. I also have a deep appreciation for the crafts and love to bring traditional processes into the design and learn new skills along the way from book making to carpentry.
