About these terms and conditions

The website is provided by Architecture Social Limited, company number 10430707, at its registered office: Wework 1 Fore St Avenue, Barbican, London, England, EC2Y 9DT.

These terms cover the public website, Explore, member account features, community and messaging features, and content made available through Architecture Social. Recruitment services for candidates and clients have separate documents linked on this page. Legacy NFT purchases have a separate archived record.

These on-site terms are the current website terms. Archived supplier-generated documents describe earlier versions of the service and are not the authority for this website.

AI-assisted tools and skills assessments

ArchGPT replies, web-search summaries and other AI-assisted results are general information. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Check important details on the relevant source page or with our team before acting. An AI-assisted reply does not create a recruitment commitment, guarantee an interview or placement, or replace legal, financial or professional advice.

Do not enter CVs, application answers, confidential candidate, client or project information, special-category personal data, passwords or material you do not have the right to share into ArchGPT. Use the appropriate private application or recruitment route instead.

A team enquiry is submitted only after you confirm its details. Skills assessments may be delivered by KnowledgeSmart, whose own terms and privacy information also apply. An assessment invitation or result does not guarantee an interview, placement or employment.

03

Which terms apply

Different documents apply depending on how you use Architecture Social:

  • Website use — these terms.
  • Candidates — free recruitment support under the candidate recruitment terms.
  • Clients / employers — paid recruitment search and related services under the client recruitment terms, with signed terms of business remaining the contractual source of truth.
04

Acceptable use

You may use Architecture Social only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects other people, intellectual property, privacy and the security of the service.

You must not:

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority;
  • publish unlawful, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or harassing material;
  • upload malware, probe security or interfere with the service;
  • send spam or use automated access beyond what we expressly permit;
  • scrape, reproduce or resell the service or its content without permission;
  • use member messaging or community features to bypass Architecture Social commercial recruitment boundaries; or
  • infringe another person's privacy, confidential information or rights.

We may restrict access, remove content or report conduct where this is reasonably needed to protect users, third parties or Architecture Social.

05

Accounts, community and security

You are responsible for keeping account access secure and for information submitted through your account. Provide accurate information, tell us if account security may have been compromised and do not share credentials in a way that exposes another person's information.

Authentication may be provided by Clerk and a selected identity provider. Their own terms also apply to their service.

Member community posts, content discussions and peer messages must not include CVs, private candidate application answers or other recruitment data that belongs in the private candidate system.

06

Profiles and contributed content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Architecture Social the permission needed to host, review, format, reproduce and display approved content as part of the website and its promotion.

Only submit material you have the right to use. You must respect confidential project information, image licences, personal data and the rights of employers, clients, photographers and other contributors.

We can decline, unpublish or remove material that is inaccurate, unapproved, expired, unsafe or inconsistent with these terms. Contact us if you want eligible contributed content corrected or removed.

07

Intellectual property and external services

Architecture Social and its licensors retain their rights in the website, brand, software, design and original content. A public page or search result does not grant a right to copy, republish, train a commercial dataset from, or exploit that material.

Links and embedded material can lead to services controlled by third parties. Their availability, content and terms are outside our control.

08

Availability, information and liability

The website is provided on an available basis. We work to keep information useful and the service secure, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every third-party, archived or source record will always be complete.

Nothing on a public profile, article, salary page or Explore result is legal, financial or professional advice. Recruitment outcomes, interviews and placements are not guaranteed.

Liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

09

Changes and governing terms

We may update the website and these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by the update date and, where appropriate, explained through the website or account service.

These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to a consumer in their home jurisdiction. Recruitment contracts and legacy purchases may contain their own specific governing terms.
