Our role and which terms apply

Architecture Social Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent roles and as an employment business for contract assignments.

Our recruitment services are operated in accordance with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 where they apply.

Choose the document that matches your role:

  • Candidates — the candidate sections on this page.
  • Clients / employers — the stronger client recruitment terms, with signed terms of business remaining the contractual source of truth.
02

Candidate service and charges

Candidate recruitment support is free of charge. Depending on your circumstances, we can:

  • maintain your details in our private candidate system;
  • discuss permanent and contract opportunities;
  • match your experience and preferences to suitable roles;
  • seek your permission before presenting you to a named employer;
  • arrange interviews and communicate feedback; and
  • help clarify an offer or contract terms.

We cannot guarantee an interview, offer, assignment or placement. You remain free to decide whether to pursue any opportunity.

03

Your information and responsibilities

You agree to provide information that is accurate and reasonably current, including:

  • your identity and contact details;
  • employment history, qualifications, skills and portfolio evidence;
  • availability, role preferences and information relevant to a role; and
  • referee details when requested.

Referees will be contacted only with your permission. Tell us promptly if information changes or if you no longer want to be considered for a role.

04

Privacy and candidate control

We do not send your CV or identifying details to a prospective employer without your permission for that submission. Private candidate information and CVs are handled separately from public Architecture Social profiles.

How information is collected, retained and shared is explained in the privacy notice. You can withdraw from marketing or make a data rights request at any time.

05

Contract assignments

Before arranging a contract assignment, we will explain the proposed engagement and provide relevant Key Information Documents. You must tell us how you intend to provide your services and supply the information reasonably needed to arrange the assignment.

An eligible company contractor may be able to opt out of the Conduct Regulations by completing the required notice before an introduction or supply. An opt-out can be withdrawn for future assignments by notifying us.

06

Clients and employer terms

Employers and practices that use Architecture Social as a client should read the dedicated client recruitment terms. Those terms distinguish:

  • directory profiles and job advertising; and
  • paid instructions to our recruitment team.

Speculative applications to directory listings are a courtesy directory service with no recruitment charge for those introductions alone. Instructing our recruitment team to search is a paid engagement governed by signed terms of business.

Ask for the current terms before instructing Architecture Social. If your organisation has already signed terms, that signed version is the source of truth.

07

Explore and advertising services

A public Explore listing, job advertisement or other platform package is not automatically an instruction to provide recruitment search. The applicable page, order or agreement will identify what is included and whether a charge applies.

If Architecture Social is asked to approach, qualify or introduce candidates as a recruiter, the agreed recruitment terms of business apply.

Questions, complaints and updates

Email support@architecturesocial.com if you need these terms in another format or want to raise a concern about the recruitment service.

Employer clients can request the current terms of business when briefing a role. We may update these public candidate terms when legislation or the service changes.
