Rada Daleva’s second-year project explores speculative designs for the potential use of algae in future buildings.

The proposals imagine a symbiotic relationship between people and nature: carbon dioxide is captured by microalgae and used to release energy and light that power the building. Algorithmic and computational methods simulate natural algae growth and shape the structures.
