A highlight of their recent work includes the design of the flagship store for luxury sneaker brand Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) located in New York City. Tasked with creating a second flagship in the heart of Soho, Al-Jawad Pike envisioned a curving amphitheatre-shaped space that showcases the sneakers in minimal, gallery-style box frames, treating each piece as a work of art. The design incorporates tear-drop shaped columns and boulder-shaped plinths for product display, with a back-lit stretched fabric ceiling that adds warmth and drama to the space​ (Al-Jawad Pike)​.
