About
About ARCHLOGBOOK.
ARCHLOGBOOK is an open architecture education platform founded by Gabriel Chek, a Singapore-based registered architect. It began in 2019 as an Instagram blog documenting what Gabriel was learning as a young architectural designer, created to help bridge the gap between architecture school and everyday practice.
The platform brings together bite-size technical explainers, blog posts, ebooks, an open practice wiki and podcast conversations. Its focus has grown from technical documentation towards a wider aim: helping students and young professionals gain clarity and confidence in the design and practice of architecture.
Alongside ARCHLOGBOOK, Gabriel hosts the Architecture Siol! podcast, where he speaks with built environment professionals in Singapore and beyond about their projects, the issues they have faced and the lessons they have learned.
