About

About astudio.

astudio is an award-winning, design-led architectural practice committed to delivering high-quality, innovative design across a wide range of sectors, including residential, education, commercial, cultural, hospitality, civic, retrofit and masterplanning. Founded in 2006, the practice is defined by strong conceptual thinking and enduring, sustainable design.

astudio brings together architecture, technology, sustainability, engineering and research to push the boundaries of design and construction. The team works inclusively with clients, stakeholders and specialists from other industries to deliver visionary yet buildable projects, guided by the values of listening, sharing and innovating with courage.

Sustainability is embedded in everything the practice does, led by an in-house environmental engineer who integrates low-carbon design strategies from the earliest stages of every project. astudio was named Architectural Practice of the Year in 2012 and continues to pioneer ways to reduce carbon and drive change across the industry.

The practice's amodular offsite construction system combines high-quality architectural design with advanced modular manufacturing to address global challenges such as urbanisation, climate change and housing shortages. Working with developers and government departments, astudio delivers architecture that is fast, efficient and scalable, supporting local economies through regional manufacturing and workforce development.

Current work includes the zero-carbon residential neighbourhoods of East Wick and Sweetwater beside the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, alongside education and large-scale mixed-use projects across London.
