In their words
Renato Benedetti established Benedetti Architects in 2016, following his work at McDowell+Benedetti. The practice works with public and private clients across different project types and scales.
Its services span briefing and feasibility, planning and technical design, through to contract management during construction. Existing and historic buildings sit alongside new-build work.
The practice's approach is informed by the setting of a project and the qualities of materials, space and light. It also collaborates with artists and craftspeople.

Culture
Project architects are described as staying with projects from the early design stages through planning and construction, rather than handing responsibility over at each stage. The practice's people page identifies ongoing training and research as part of developing design and technical skills.

The practice emphasises listening to clients and building an open working relationship between clients, designers, stakeholders and builders. Adaptability, long-lasting materials and the wider effects of a building form part of its stated approach to sustainability.
