In their words
“BIMobject is a global marketplace for the construction industry, on a mission to digitalise construction for a sustainable future.”
BIMobject is a global marketplace for the construction industry, on a mission to digitalise construction for a sustainable future. The platform gives architects and engineers the product information and inspiration they need to design buildings faster, smarter and greener.
Building product manufacturers use BIMobject to reach, influence and understand building designers worldwide, publishing digital versions of their products so designers can drop accurate, data-rich objects straight into their models. The company works with more than 1,900 building product brands, and its users include many of the world's leading architecture firms.
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, BIMobject is listed on the NASDAQ First North Growth Market (ticker BIM). Its focus sits at the intersection of BIM, product data and sustainability, helping the built environment cut waste and carbon through better digital workflows.
Business Development Director Matthew Jackson joined the Architecture Social Podcast to discuss moving from mainstream architecture into digital construction, why the industry needs to digitalise, and how architectural skills translate into technology-led roles.
