Gbolade Design Studio is an award-winning architecture practice specialising in sustainable design; making places with people at the heart of our process through analysis of, and, insight from, existing communities. We respond within the framework of our Ethos: Design-led, Sustainable, Innovative, Community-Centred and Commercially-Minded. We believe in excellence and equality, and choose clients and projects accordingly. At Gbolade Design Studio, there’s no corporate nonsense, and no old-fashioned hierarchy or micro-management; instead, we work as a self-sufficient, yet integrated, team of associates. What does this mean? In the simplest of words, each associate is trusted to set their own direction if and when one isn’t given; feeling empowered to determine what needs to be done, and doing it, without waiting for someone to tell you to. We're an entrepreneurial bunch! We like to try our hand at wildly varying ideas, ventures, innovations. We create apps, we R&D, we work hard and make work-life fun! Of course, we enjoy and promote a healthy work-life balance too.
