Methodic Practice

Architect, Colin Smith & Landscape Architect, Stefanie Weinmann started collaborating informally in 2001, Setting up Methodic Practice in 2002 following the design & construction of a series of small, private landscape projects in the UK & Germany. Their shared interests lie in the often oppositional, overlapping and mutually beneficial elements of architecture & landscape architecture and borrowing approaches from each discipline to establish renewed design & practice methodology towards a common goal. Both Stefanie & Colin are inspired to challenge the constraints and redefine the potential of each project, no matter the size and work in close collaboration with clients, contractors and consultants in order to maintain a truly hands-on approach.
