The story

The story behind the work.

Bad Love Club is a cafe, bar and bakery in Footscray, in Melbourne's inner western suburbs. The venue pours coffee and serves jaffles by day, then shifts after dark to signature cocktails paired with desserts. BOARCH took on an existing shopfront tenancy, formerly a noodle bar, which was fully demolished and redesigned internally. The fit-out folds in back-of-house facilities, a commercial kitchen for the bakery side, and integrated signage, all within a compact 78 square metre footprint. It was completed in 2017 across a single level.
