The story
The story behind the work.
Droplet Villa sits in Hastings with its own doorway to the sand. BB Interiors used the surrounding landscape as the starting point for a pared-back interior, selecting natural materials and furniture forms that keep sightlines open to the coast.
The four-bedroom house was first planned as a light-filled weekend escape from London, with practical spaces for family life and gatherings. The clients later made it their main home, retaining the relaxed seaside brief in everyday use.
