The project
Garden Day & Night transforms an existing outdoor café in Nicosia through furniture, colour and lighting. Working within a protected area where major structural changes were restricted, Migliore Interiors concentrated on the existing garden and its use throughout the day.
Old doors and windows were repurposed as tabletops, while materials from construction sites became furniture components. Different seating areas sit among the planting, giving the café an informal garden character.
After dark, coloured lights and illuminated signs change the atmosphere around the tables and bar. The project combines daytime café use with an evening social setting, with interior design by Migliore Interiors and Maria Charalambous.
