The story
The story behind the work.
Launceston House is a mid-century home in Launceston, Tasmania, reworked by Hindley & Co with a contemporary addition. The extension opens the house to sunshine and a series of courtyards, and pares the living spaces back to a simple, modern palette while keeping the original character intact.
Completed in 2020, the single-level project covers 160 square metres.
