Irvine Toroitich's project begins with a city-wide analysis of Milan and a framework connecting primary and secondary activities with pedestrian movement.
The framework is tested through a 40-hectare masterplan around a wholesale market, exploring how industrial land can operate as a circular system that supports local businesses and the wider community.
