In their words
Angelucci Architects brings together education buildings, community facilities and housing in a portfolio concerned with how people use and share space. The practice was founded in Melbourne and works across Australia and Europe.
Its education work explores the relationship between a teaching brief and the arrangement of learning spaces. Modular construction, flexible classrooms and sheltered outdoor areas form part of an approach that responds to individual school communities and their sites.
The second stage at Glengala Primary School brings administration, junior learning spaces and an art room into the existing campus. Connected classrooms, smaller withdrawal rooms and a clear colour palette show how the practice addresses both everyday movement and different ways of learning.
