The studio
Where the work happens.
The kitchenette and mezzanine sit within one compact interior. · The upper workspace sits beneath the pitched roof. · A tall window brings daylight into the living space beneath the mezzanine.

In their words
Considered design for projects of every scale
Apparte is a Melbourne architecture studio led by director Otto Henkell. Its work spans renovations, new buildings and custom furniture.
The studio starts with conversation, taking time to understand the practical needs and constraints of each brief. It treats spatial limitations and everyday requirements as useful starting points for design.
Garden Studio brings that thinking to a small backyard building in Brunswick West. A flexible interior, mezzanine and close relationship with the garden give the compact space a range of uses.
