In their words
Architecture, interiors and atmosphere
BARN arch. is an Istanbul practice co-founded by Ağacan Bahadır and Tümer Keser. Its work brings architecture, interior design, installations and temporary structures into a shared studio practice.
The team describes atmosphere as a central part of its work, considering materials, geometry and the way people experience a place together. Its portfolio ranges from cultural and event spaces to residential buildings.
At Private7 in Ömerli, that approach operates at the scale of a small neighbourhood. Independent homes are arranged in relation to the terrain, while openings, gardens and changes in volume give each dwelling a different relationship with its surroundings.
