A bright hall connects rooms through dark-framed doorways. · Patterned seating and a pale armchair beside the garden-facing windows. · Large windows bring views of the garden into the living room.

In their words
Architecture and interiors considered as one.
Brooke Aitken Design is a Sydney architecture and interior design practice led by founder and principal Brooke Aitken. Its portfolio includes houses, apartments, commercial projects and interior decoration.
The studio works from the outside in and the inside out, developing architecture and interiors together. It describes its contemporary approach as Soft Modernism, with colour, materials and decorative choices growing from the initial design concept.
The practice places an emphasis on liveable, practical spaces and on adapting buildings to clients’ lives. Its support for considered renovation is reflected in Hill Haven, a residence extended and reworked over many years as family needs changed.
