In their words
Making room for everyday life through open plans, colour and carefully scaled joinery.
Bruno Kim established the practice in 2021 after working with the São Paulo collective oitentaedois. Based in the city centre, the studio works with the way each client lives, using changes to circulation, light and storage to make more of existing spaces.
At Sliding Puzzle Apartment, the practice brings a balcony, living room and kitchen together within an 81m² home. Plywood joinery and a yellow kitchen give the renovation its character, while the sliding cabinet doors make a graphic composition that changes as they move.
