In their words
CHROFI is an architecture and urban design practice based in Manly, Sydney. It works with public agencies, commercial clients and private individuals, from masterplanning and feasibility to completed buildings.
Its published approach begins with the wider possibilities of a site and brief, considering how a project can serve both its immediate users and the surrounding place. The practice’s portfolio includes public spaces, houses, cultural buildings and urban developments.
Maitland Riverlink, created with landscape architects McGregor Coxall, demonstrates this interest in connections beyond a building’s boundary. A civic gateway links High Street with the Hunter River, combining a public route with sheltered gathering space and everyday amenities.
