Where the work happens.
Dark seating and layered shelving give the bar a more enclosed atmosphere. · Outdoor seating and large planters extend the ground-floor venue towards the public precinct. · Curved seating and a timber ceiling organise the dining space.

In their words
Architecture and interiors for places people gather
H&E Architects is a Sydney-based practice led by Chris Grinham and Glenn Cunnington. Its work brings architecture and interior design together across hospitality, retail, commercial and residential projects.
The studio considers the character of a venue alongside the practical work of delivering it. Its published portfolio ranges from restaurants and bars to shops and houses, with an emphasis on materials, circulation and the way people occupy a space.
Barangaroo House shows that collaborative approach at a larger scale. H&E worked with Etic on the hospitality design, integrating the venues with the base-building architecture in collaboration with Collins & Turner.
