In their words
A hands-on approach to architecture, shaped by place, materials and the way people live.
Founded by Ian Hazard in 2012, the practice brings contemporary design to existing sites and buildings. Its approach centres on collaboration with clients and the people who make a project, with careful attention to the character and possibilities of each place.
At Ladywood Mead in Roundhay, the practice renovated and extended a mid-century house within a steep woodland garden. Working with interior designer and client Lucy Clarke-Bishop, it retained the original building’s character while creating a more direct route from family living spaces to the landscape.
