In their words

Architecture connected to creative culture

KebbellDaish was established in Wellington by Sam Kebbell and John Daish in 2002. Sam has led the practice since John's retirement in 2009, working with clients across homes, workplaces, galleries and other cultural settings.

The practice looks for connections between architecture, the arts, technology and the setting of each project. Sam's work in exhibitions and urban research sits alongside the studio's built work, with collaboration used to develop each brief rather than impose one house style.

Rewa, presented on the practice's website as Rewa Road, brings that thinking into a small Wellington house. Shared garden steps, a built-in washing line and views towards the harbour explore how an individual home can support a more informal neighbourhood.
