Tactile interiors developed through material, proportion and the cultural context of each brief.
Knight Associates works across homes, retail, hospitality and other commercial interiors. Its Auckland studio describes a design approach informed by cultural context and the way materials are experienced at close range.
The practice has worked with brands including Aēsop, Les Mills and Fisher & Paykel. At Kowtow Newmarket, a restrained palette and carefully positioned joinery organise a small retail interior around the customer’s experience.
