Design across disciplines
LIMINAL Studio is based in Hobart and Melbourne. Its Architecture, Spaces, Objects and Ideation identities bring building design together with interiors, furniture, art and performance.
Collaboration is central to the studio’s approach. Its published work considers how places support the people who use them, while drawing on local materials, cultural histories and the possibilities of working across creative disciplines.
The Hedberg brings that approach into a cultural and education precinct in Hobart. Designed with Singapore-based WOHA, it connects new performance and music facilities with the historic Theatre Royal and Hedberg Garage.
