In their words
Contemporary buildings that respond to their surroundings, from individual rooms to the city street.
MU Architecture was founded in Montreal in 2010 by Charles Côté and Jean-Sébastien Herr. The studio works across residential, workplace and larger building projects, bringing architecture and interior design together through a collaborative process.
Its work ranges from individual homes to denser urban sites. At Le Petit Laurent, the practice gives one residential building two distinct street faces: limestone and gold-coloured accents along Saint-Laurent Boulevard, and patterned brickwork towards Clark Street and the Quartier des Spectacles.
