In their words

Contemporary architecture rooted in Atlantic Canada

RHAD Architects is based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Founded by Rayleen Hill in 2010, the practice works across individual homes, commercial interiors, retail, civic buildings and institutional projects.

The studio draws on climate, topography, local building traditions and the ways people use a place. Its approach connects the larger organisation of a building with its interiors and everyday details, carrying the comfort and scale of domestic spaces into public and commercial work.

At Content Bloom in Halifax, RHAD brought that attention to a technology company's workplace. An open office, private rooms, shared tables and informal seating give people different ways to work within one renovated space.
