In their words
Richard Cole Architecture is a design studio based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Established in 1998, the practice works on residential and commercial projects.
The studio’s Merindah Park Farmhouse at Bellawongarah brings living spaces and circulation around a sheltered courtyard. The building takes cues from rural forms and uses brick, timber, stone, concrete, steel and glass.
The farmhouse combines spaces for family and friends to gather with a garden by Trish Dobson Landscape Architect. Its exposed structure, sheltered outdoor rooms and relationship to the surrounding landscape form a clear part of the design.
