In their words
Ruumi Studio works across architecture, interiors and workplace design. Its approach brings together collaboration, practical problem-solving and an interest in the experience of the people who use a space.
The studio has offices at 21 Lad Lane in Dublin and 20 Swan Street in Manchester. Its published working culture includes a nine-day fortnight and flexible arrangements.
Co-founder Dominic McAndrew joined Architecture Social to discuss building the practice after three redundancies, developing a team and establishing its working culture.
At DF Capital in Manchester, the studio combines contemporary workplace interiors with the character of a listed building. Its work spans architecture, interiors and the detailed settings in which people meet and work.
