In their words
Architecture shaped through research, collaboration and the communities that use it.
Studio of Contemporary Architecture is led by Shane Laptiste and Tura Cousins Wilson. Its work ranges from new buildings and adaptive reuse to renovations, interiors, exhibitions and public art, for institutional, residential, arts, commercial and municipal clients.
The practice begins with questions about the brief, site and people a project will serve. At Fisher Field Clubhouse in Collingwood, collaboration with Stephens Kozak Architects brings accessible changing facilities and washrooms to a light-filled pavilion beside the playing fields.
