In their words
Established in 2005 by Suzie Hunt, Suzanne Hunt Architect brings architecture and interiors into one design process. The practice works with a limited number of projects at a time, developing each brief with its clients, consultants and builders.
Its published approach places particular emphasis on listening, resolving details and supporting clients through the design and construction process. The portfolio ranges across residential work, heritage, hospitality and mixed-use projects.
At The Pad in South Perth, that approach turns a constrained strata site into a single-storey home shaped around light, river views and internal gardens. Materials, joinery and the relationships between inside and outside are considered together.
