The kitchen sits beside an opening to the outdoor dining area. · Screens, a balcony and deep openings form the street elevation. · Timber steps and a vertical screen define the entrance and stair.

In their words
Houses and interiors designed together
Tim Stewart Architects works from Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, providing architecture and interior design for houses and boutique commercial developments. Tim Stewart leads the design of the studio’s projects.
The practice uses a team approach to take projects through design and delivery. Its published portfolio includes new homes, alterations and commercial spaces, with a stated interest in longevity and the relationship between buildings and their setting.
Ascot House offers a clear view of the studio’s residential work: a layered street elevation, timber screens and a garden-facing living space connect the architecture with its interiors.
