The story

The story behind the work.

Woodalls designed and delivered Banking Circle's London workplace at 68 King William Street as part of the company's relocation. The 20,000 sq ft fit-out replaces a conventional office hierarchy with an open arrival and a connected route through work, meeting and social spaces.

A curved social hub, cafe tables, booths and an all-hands area support informal exchange, while a quieter library offers a more enclosed place to focus and recharge. Circular forms, warm materials and planting give the financial-services workplace a less institutional character.

The official project page records an 18-month construction programme and a 2025 London Design Awards gold award. This record credits Woodalls for workplace strategy, design and integrated delivery; it does not attribute project authorship to podcast guest Greta Kriovaite.
