The story
The story behind the work.
AMA developed an invited proposal to improve the arrival experience and day-to-day operation of Dubai World Trade Centre with a single curved canopy over the main circulation routes.
The lightweight steel structure incorporates 3D-printed elements and supports display zones tied to the venue's changing events. The canopy is conceived as a civic extension of the convention centre, improving shade and making activity inside more visible from passing traffic.
