Longing 500 mg
Vazio S/A has reworked an apartment on one of Porto’s narrow, deep plots, lit by a wild garden at the back and a graffiti-lined alley at the side.

The project
Porto’s historic core is made of plots only six to eight metres wide set in very deep blocks, leaving surprising green spaces in the middle. This apartment draws its light from two spaces: a deep private garden and the narrow Travessa da Regeneração.
In the garden, magnolias are planted in a meadow of two grasses and 20 flower species. It needs little care, supports far more life than a lawn and welcomes plants that arrive on their own, a secret garden in the centre of the city.
