The story

The story behind the work.

Neighbourhood Wine Bar is a brutalist-inspired space by Fare Inc., conceived for wine tastings and for learning about locally sourced wines. The design draws on the building's former life as a garage, carried through in blackened steel, exposed beams, painted brickwork and iron lighting.

At the centre of the room, a generously scaled bar takes its form from an antique brutalist credenza. Bespoke lighting, crafted from iron petals, hangs above a large marble tasting table, a piece Fare Inc. describes as its take on delicate brutalism.
