The project
The campus is changing from a functional cluster of sober office buildings into a varied, park-like working environment designed to attract researchers and engineers from around the world.
What began as a cosmetic upgrade became a completely new skin. New window frames with strong vertical profiles improve insulation and ventilation, the concrete parapets are insulated and lined, and a semi-transparent canvas with programmable lighting runs along the facades. A new central meeting and restaurant building opens onto the landscape on both sides.
