The story behind the work.

Atlantic Records approached Sunken Blimp in January 2023 to create an augmented-reality portal for Melanie Martínez and the release of DEATH from the PORTALS album.

The studio developed the experience through client workshops, AI and hand-drawn concept studies, 3D environment and asset design, renders and developer testing. The official case study records 45.6 million opens and 48.7 million impressions after launch.
