Senior Architect

Plenty of senior roles are pitched as pure design. This one is not. It is a delivery job on commercial projects, so technical detail, coordination and getting buildings built are the point.

You are the Senior Architect who takes a commercial scheme through the later stages and out onto site. You will hold the technical package, coordinate the consultants, and keep quality and programme on track. If delivery is where you do your best work, read on.

This is a hybrid role in a mid-sized, employee-owned London studio known for its materials and low-carbon work. You bring the commercial delivery track record; they bring the projects and the technical culture to match.

The Practice

• You will join an employee-owned London design studio of more than 80 architects, designers and researchers.
• The studio works across commercial, workplace, retrofit and mixed-use projects in London.
• The studio combines digital design and fabrication with traditional materials.

The Work

• You will deliver commercial projects through the later design and construction stages.
• You will own and coordinate the technical package to a high standard.
• You will coordinate consultants and contractors as the project moves to site.
• You will hold quality, programme and buildability across delivery.
• You will support the design intent as it becomes a built result.

What You Need

• You have a strong track record delivering commercial projects.
• You are confident taking schemes through technical design and construction.
• You can coordinate a consultant team and manage the process on site.
• You bring solid knowledge of UK regulations, construction and detailing.
• Experience with Revit would be preferred.
• You communicate clearly with clients, consultants and contractors.
