Senior Architect - Data Centre Projects

A leading multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to join its growing architectural team, working on major data centre and mission critical projects.

This is an opportunity for a technically strong architect to take a leading role on complex, highly serviced buildings, collaborating closely with engineers and specialist consultants from design through to delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and technical delivery of data centre projects

• Develop and coordinate detailed design packages through multiple RIBA stages

• Work closely with structural, MEP, fire and specialist consultants

• Coordinate complex technical information within Revit and BIM environments

• Take responsibility for design quality and architectural output

• Attend and contribute to client, consultant and coordination meetings

• Support and mentor junior architects and architectural assistants

• Ensure projects meet relevant technical and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• ARB-registered Architect with at least 6 years post Part III experience

• Previous experience delivering large-scale, technically complex projects

• Data centre, mission-critical or industrial experience would be highly advantageous

• Strong Revit and BIM experience

• Excellent technical detailing and coordination skills

• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction processes

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams

• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
