Cookery School on Shaftesbury Square
The project showcased here in a adaptive reuse proposal for a cookery school on Belfast's Shaftesbury Square.
The proposal maintains the existing concrete structure of the former Ulster Bank Building and wraps it in an ETFE skin providing vertical growing space and a roof garden to provide for the various kitchen spaces in the building.

Gallery + Archive in Derry
The Gallery + Archive proposed here for a vacant site on the walls of Derry was Oileán's final project at QUB. Born of rather lucky stakeholder engagement the project was completed in collaboration with the Void Art Centre who offered guidance and feedback on the developing work.

The Rathlin Test Kitchen
The test kitchen project was born in QUB's vertical studio Staging Symbiosis, led by Dr Nuala Flood and Dr Sean Cullen. The university runs 'vertical studios' in which second and third year undergraduate students are integrated in a number of studios.
