In their words
A research-led approach to architecture and its relationship with nature.
A1 Arquitectura Avanzada is a multidisciplinary practice led by José Daniel Terán. Its team brings together project design, planning, interiors and construction expertise. The studio describes research and the translation of a client’s requirements into design parameters as central to its work.
House Between Trees shows how that approach can respond to an existing landscape. Rather than treating the trees as an obstacle, the practice uses their position to organise rooms, openings and the spaces between them.
