In their words
Architecture and interiors connected to their place.
Biotope Architecture + Interiors is based in Hobart, Tasmania. Its work brings architecture and interiors together, with attention to the existing building and its surroundings.
At Coolum, the studio removes unsympathetic additions behind a heritage cottage and makes a new connection to the garden. Stone walls, reclaimed timber trusses and large sliding timber doors give the extension a direct relationship with the landscape.
