Holt Architecture

Holt Architecture, a RIBA Chartered practice based in London, is renowned for its innovative approach to architecture, which they term as 'urban surgery'. This unique method involves leveraging digital design processes to blend nature, technology, and heritage, thereby adding new forms and meanings to existing structures. Their work aims to fuse the best of our past with the needs of our future, creating spaces that inspire, heal, and innovate.

The practice is committed to sustainability, using a retro-first approach to ensure their projects are not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally responsible. They are fervent advocates of Building Information Modelling (BIM), utilizing it across all projects, including those involving retrofit and urban surgery, to improve documentation accuracy, enhance project planning, and facilitate better stakeholder collaboration.

Their portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects, from meticulous conservation and restoration of listed Georgian terraced houses to innovative low-carbon retrofits of 1920s terraced houses and luxury apartment conversions in busy London streets. Notable projects include the Weymouth Street Penthouses, Grove in Wandsworth, and the Harley Street Fertility Clinic, each reflecting Holt Architecture's ability to navigate complex briefs and turn them into refined solutions.
